Courage

there's a courage to do something

and then there's a courage to let go

there's a courage that speaks against what's wrong

and for what's right

then there's a courage that surrenders to life

courage isn't force

it's to stay in truth no matter what the cost but with love

courage is connection

courage is to communicate, speak up, and share your words

but there's fear

fear of consequences of speaking up

fear of conflict

fear of fight

fear of screams

fear of disappointment

fear of getting hit

fear of abuse

fear of feeling ashamed

fear of loneliness

fear of isolation

fear of abandonment

fear of survival

fear of rejection

fear of ridicule

fear of judgment

fear of humiliation

fear of failure

fear of death

the consequences, whatever they may be, must be accepted

and dealt with

otherwise life won't be worth living

just a place of the walking dead, zombies

courage adds life, it keeps us truly alive

courage is needed for a life that is real

for a true sense of self

for relationships to grow strong roots

to see the truth of others and ourselves

this the courage that is expressed

then there's courage that's internal

the courage to follow your calling

the courage to build your own path

the courage to walk in the dark

the courage to feel the fear

the courage to not know the end

the courage to not follow your mind's plans

the courage to know that god has your hand

the courage to not move from fear

the courage to not fit in

the courage to live in your authentic self

the courage to drop all control

and surrender to the highest plan

it's needed for a life of true fulfilment
